About Will Hruska
Hi, I'm William Hruska and I'd like to tell you about my fitness journey. At 25 years old I found myself feeling like an old man while still in my youth. I felt sluggish, experienced frequent aches and pains, and struggled to perform functions at work due to lack of strength. In addition to all of that I had to get carpal tunnel surgery done on both my wrists. All of this hit me like a ton of bricks. I was falling apart and something had to change. That something was me. I had to change. I had to do something. The answer was already there. I have to start working out and taking care of myself. And so began my journey into fitness.
A year prior to the surgeries on my wrists I started running and began a yoga practice. These seemed like a good place to start given that I was not able to grip weights due to my wrists. Getting my body moving on a regular basis was hard at first but in a short period of time I started noticing improvement, not just physically but in other areas of my life as well. I started having energy for work and the rest of daily life, and it felt good to knowing I was doing something really positive for my life. I was hooked.
Since the initial start of my fitness path I have done Kettlebell training for 13 years culminating to becoming certified as an ELITE instructor to teach Kettlebell/Barbell/Bodyweight through STRONGFIRST, one of the worlds leading strength organizations. Along with my years of personal yoga practice and study I pursued my love of Yoga and have become a 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher through Shine Vinyasa Yoga School.
